Bigle Legal, Southern Europe’s leading end-to-end document automation and electronic signature software company, has announced a new investment round led by Adara Ventures and ICF Venture Tech that provides the company with two million euros to expand its business.
Launched in 2017 and with headquarters in the city of Barcelona, Spain, Bigle Legal also has an office in Lima, Peru and a new office in London, UK. With the help of existing shareholders, including Telegraph Hill Capital and Cuatrecasas Ventures, who have invested again in this round, the company plans to double its current team size to 30 employees and enter a new stage of growth.
Alejandro Esteve de Miguel, Co-founder and CEO of Bigle Legal, emphasises that the sales objective of this new step is to “lead the European legal-tech market, which is at its peak with more than $1 bllion in venture funding this year.” On the product side, he points out, "we want to become the number one legal operations software for corporations, offering them a tool that allows them to automate their mundane tasks and eliminate any human error."

Moreover, the company announced that Laura Urquizu, CEO of Red Points —an online brand protection company, used by most companies worldwide—, has become an advisor to the Board of Directors. Winner of the Entrepreneur XXI Awards in 2015, as well as the Spanish Association of Executives (AED) award for best executive of the year in the start-up category, Laura Urquizu explained that “I am very excited to join them as advisor.”
